We would like to invite you to the annual EURAM conference – Track “Knowledge renewal in social networks“. The focus of the track is the renewal of knowledge, hence learning and knowledge transfer, in social networks. We aim to develop insights into (i) how knowledge behaves in networks, (ii) how it is refined and (iii) how it is reconfigured. The deadline for submissions is December 5 2008. Call for papers is available here.

I am enthused and deeply honoured to say that University of Ljubljana Senate proclaimed me as one of only two Best Young Professors in terms of extraordinary research and teaching achievements for the year 2008. The ceremony will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the University of Ljubljana main building. Needless to say that it a distinguished award and that I’ll be in company of many truly great minds who will receive honorary doctorates (e.g. Boris Pahor, famous Slovene writer) as well as other prestigious awards. According to the EDUNIVERSAL Official Selection my school, Faculty of Economics @ University of Ljubljana was ranked among top three business schools in the Eastern europe. Deans around the world were asked who would they reccommend as the best business schools throughout the world. Not bad, isn’t it?
