I am enthused and deeply honoured to say that University of Ljubljana Senate proclaimed me as one of only two Best Young Professors in terms of extraordinary research and teaching achievements for the year 2008. The ceremony will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the University of Ljubljana main building. Needless to say that it a distinguished award and that I’ll be in company of many truly great minds who will receive honorary doctorates (e.g. Boris Pahor, famous Slovene writer) as well as other prestigious awards.
